Re: San Diego Center for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to endorse a superior medical facility located here in San Diego that most likely saved the life of my wife. My wife, Cathy, a quadriplegic, developed a severe pressure ulcer after 40 years being confined to a wheelchair. She was the beneficiary of world class medical care at Balboa Naval Hospital and University of California, San Diego. Everything, including vacuum therapy and nutrition supplements over months, resulted in no improvement. In desperation, her doctors urged her to try hyperbaric therapy.

I spoke with several local civilian hospitals where the best price we could negotiate was $1,800.00 per session. Finally, we were referred to the San Diego Center for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (SDC4HBOT) by a prominent wound physician. This center is owned and operated by a retired Navy SEAL (Kraig Dorner) and his wife Jennifer. They charge $220.00 per treatment and their hyperbaric chambers are virtually the same as those used in many local hospitals. After forty (40) treatments, we saved over $60,000.00 compared to the hospital cost for the identical service. Best of all, while avoiding that cost (which we would not have been able to afford) my wife’s’ treatment is now complete and she is just short of total recovery. It should be noted that when we started her treatment at SDC4HBOT, it was as a last resort as nothing else was working. That is the power of this treatment.

I have no association with SDC4HBOT except to the extent that my wife was their patient for 2+ months. While in their care, her condition improved to the point of being ‘cured,’ she was cared for professionally, and it was service we could afford. For the multitude of DoD and VA patients who could profit from this remarkable treatment and who may have limited finances, I urge you to consider sending them to SDC4HBOT.

Please feel free to contact me directly if I can further assist.
